2005 v6 mustang diablosport predator problems- engine failsafe mode
I loaded the 93 canned tune from a diablosport into my 2005 v6 mustang about a week ago and have had some problems. The car is entirely stock apart from the tune (v.8r38). I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced these same problems or can help lead me to a solution. I've been using 94 octane gas with up to 10% ethanol. Thanks.
1) About one out of five times I start the car up, a warning pops up saying "low fuel" or "fuel filler something" I can't remember exactly. As this is going on, my gas gauge says I am empty (when in fact the car was 3/4 full). By turning the car off and starting it up again this warning usually goes away, but it is very annoying.
2) Check engine light came on while driving, but by the time I had the tuner read the code, it said there were no codes.
3) This is the problem that has me worried the most...While driving at 130 km/h on the highway in cruise control, the display read Enginefailsafe mode and my engine started shutting down or reducing my speed, so I immediately pulled over. It was pretty dangerous, as I was travelling very quickly and there was lots of traffic. I looked in the manaul and apparently my car had gone into "limp home mode". After starting the car up again, the warning was gone and the car has been operating just fine since with the tuner showing no codes. Wondering if anyone has any similar experiences like this and I am really hoping this doesn't happen again or I may have to take the manufacturer up on their 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

I had this problem with my car, it happened with the stock airbox/tune and the aftermarket cai and tune. I replaced the TPS and haven't had a problem since. But before my car would randomly go into failsafe, stall at stoplights if I didn't keep revving the engine, or just do it on startup.
