Default New to forum- question about exaust

Hi all, I'm new to the forums and had a question about this V6 muffler:
Ford Racing M52305V6.

Is this the same as the Borla axle back #11751?

I have a 2009 Mustang V6 manual w/Pony Package that is stock.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Why don't you buy a single GT takeoff from ebay if you want to go axle back. Make sure it's the manual part number not the auto. Someone will come along with the part number for you.

You could always do like me and go duals with an x pipe!!

GT M/T Muff FI-7849-R 4R3Z-5520-LM
auto is stamped F1-7991-R, manual is stamped F1-7849-R

Or a GT take-off set-up....

FYI, if you want to do an X pipe, our 09's don't have the hanger at the transmission support. You would need to order it from a dealership...or do like me and not use it.

I wanted to go with the Ford Racing one, because from what I understand, it will be considerably louder than my stock one. I was considering going dual, but don't want to void my warranty as I only have 2600 miles on car!

Thanks for the input.

Going dual will not void your warranty. As long as you do everything cat back you will be fine. Even the pypes paper work states it will not void your warranty. If hacking the y pipe off is your worry, check out magnaflow's dual setup. it attaches at the y pipe where the stock mid pipe goes. no cutting on the y pipe is needed. Its up to you though. I prefer the sound of the x'd dual to a axle back.
