Problems with acceleration v6 please help

Thanks, Nuke, for the advice. My car was doing the same thing as Halo. I removed the positive on battery like you said and now it runs fast. I use Royal Purple by the way.

Resets to the defaults as set in the tune. Then the car will 'learn' based on your environment and driving habits.

I have the same problem but no synthetic oil. i took it to the dealer and they told me it was the EGR valve.

Did it throw a code when they ran a diagnostics test? Is that how they figured it out?

Disconnecting the battery to reset the adaptive learning does NOT reset your tune to the factory tune. Your custom tune, if loaded in the PCM, is not affected.
