StangHi CAI
#2
It looks like StangHi is a web that sells JLT CAIs. If you found it from a private person or craigslist, I would try to get a model number or something and check to see if you need a tune for it. I just looked at StangHi.com, and it seems like they are all JLT intakes, and you need a tune for them.
For some reason that you don't need a tune for the one that you found, it probably won't do much for you anyway. When you buy a CAI/tune, the tune is really what is going to give you the advantages. The tune is how you get the most out of your CAI. CAIs without needing tunes are available but are really just for underhood looks IMO.
If you want a CAI you should get a combo with a tune. JLT isn't bad, but if you want any performance out of it you need to get a tune also. C&L are very popular CAIs. Bamachips and Brenspeed are very repitable tuners and suppliers of CAIs and/or tuners.
Do a couple searches on the forum and read some of the stuff people have said about the different CAIs. There are tons of threads on here about CAIs.
