Unhappy P0605 Trouble Code - Accidentally started engine during stock tune load

I'm getting P0605/P1000 Trouble Codes after I loaded the stock tune. I made the mistake of turning the engine on during the load of the tune. Somehow, I read "engine" rather than "ignition". (I don't know how I did that...) Did I damage the PCM? Is there anyway I can repair this without having to purchase a new one? Would my car still be running perfectly if the PCM was damaged? Thank you!

Here is what the codes mean:

P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete

P0605 Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error

Have you tried to simply reload the tune properly?

I have reloaded the tune and also reset the battery. Check engine light came back on. Car is running great though...

Don't know which tuner you have but with the SCT tuner there is an option to clear the code. Not all codes clear with a restart or a battery disconnect.

I have a DiabloSport. I called them this morning and I was able to clear everything up. So far, no check engine light! I did no damage to the PCM. I guess the stealership will not be getting my money for a new one. :P

It's easy to go into panic mode when that stuff happens. Sounds like you tried to keep your cool and called the manufacturer and got it straightened out. I figured it was just a matter of clearing the codes and starting over.

The first thing I did was clear the codes yet they returned after I had started the car a second, third, fourth..etc. time. That's when I knew something was wrong but it's fixed now!
