where the hell u guys getting ur info??? for 1 the 2 piece wont come apart at high speed as the 2 piece belongs on the GT, and the 6 comes with a single piece drive shaft. and 2 if ur 6 was made after mid 05or was it 06, but anyway u will have clips on the driveshaft yokes in order to prevent it from "coming apart".

1. I get a lot of info from member on here.
2. My v6 has a 2-piece, and others say the same thing.
3. I didn't realize what year the OP car was.

But thanks for being polite.

Thats the earlier V6es with no u joint clips.
After 06 or so the clips became the standard
and V6 driveshaft failures are a thing of the past
if you have the clips holding the u joints in.

So now I'm getting close to $3000 back from my taxes this year (tuition interest, car interest) making the process of getting my next mod completed much easier. So I've decided on an 8.8 gt axle with 3.73s and t-lok. I remember speed concepts having it for only $750. So I'm also looking into getting the aluminum drive shaft installed at the same time as well. Anybody know some websites that sell good driveshafts for the 2010 v6's?

Also I know I have to tune my car after installing higher gears, what about the driveshaft? Would that require one too?

Thanks.
