That would be the reason why I would replace, yes a lighter driveshaft would get the tires spinning faster, but I don't see paying $500 for one.
Thanks, I couldn't remember for sure what the weight difference was, but did remember it wasn't a huge difference, for what the cost would be.

Your welcome, still looking for suspension upgrades wish my account had the privilages to post in the wtb section so still looking around, I still run with my stock 16's but those are kind of expensive to replace with something decent would like to get either 17's or 18's bullitts.

The v6 DS is the next weak link after the rearend. There have been horror stories of them coming apart on the dyno after FI. It is very much worth the cost IMO. I'm also pretty sure that the v6 DS is two piece as well, with the 05-06 having very weak clips in them.

Look for a set of GT take-offs, locally. You'll get much better handling than the stock 16" wheels (you know that "floaty" feeling when you get over 95 on the 16" wheels?...not there on GT wheels).

Or if you're in need of replacing worn-out 16's, you can probably find v6-takeoffs locally as well, and save a bunch of coin. I sold my V6 stock wheels, and the buyer got a nice good set for a really good price. And recently sold the GT wheels I had, too.
Deals are out there, but they come-and-go. Just keep your eyes open and take your time, and enjoy your car!

I constantly keep my eyes open for a set, if I am willing to wait they will eventually show up, but depending how I mod I may not wait for a set. I have contacted salvage yards but no luck, hard to find them considering how new the cars are.
