i need more power!
Also you can call me a mean old bastard or a stick in the mud or whatever but a Mustang that's getting 6.5 and 15.3 is more than enough in the hands of a sixteen year old kid. lol I was sixteen once and I now work at a 911 center so I see all the time what happens when you put a powerful sports car in the hands of an inexperienced young driver and it ain't good. Enjoy what you have bluestang, it's plenty.

My personal opinion on it would be yes ACE. Nothing against you personally and I know that there are some 16 year old guys that are mature enough to handle that kind of car without a problem. I'm just looking at it through the perspective of 13 years worth of work in the emergency services field. Young inexperienced drivers in a powerful sports car can be a recipe for trouble. And it's not just guys either, the girls can get pretty crazy with the loud pedal plenty of times too. And to be perfectly fair about it, there are plenty of 30 somethings out there that still haven't figured out how to act responsibly. lol But by and large, younger drivers, especially those with high performance cars, are the most likely to get into a high speed accident.
I'll give you a good exmple from my own day to day experiences. I work out about 5 days a week at a gym that is on the local university campus here but is a private gym available to the public. Right next to the gym are all the Frat houses. At least five times I have very nearly been involved in a head on accident in the parking lot because of college kids whipping around blind corners and going too fast. Three of those times it has been by the same driver. Guess what he's driving? 2002 Mustang V6. Cranking the music up loud and driving like he's filming the next installment of F&F is more important than driving safely and you just know it's all about him trying to impress the ladies coming and going in the parking lot.
And need we cover this little gem again?

You might have missed it the first time it was posted around here.
But look, I'm not saying you can't handle your car or that bluestang can't handle his. And I understand the "go faster, more power" line of thought. I was sixteen once. I'm just saying, be careful out there guys. It's ok to get a couple years of driving experience under your belt. Trust me, the last thing you want is to be right at the begining of your adult life and get involved in a bad accident that costs someone else their life because you were driving too fast in traffic. You don't want to carry that with you through life. Your parents trust you with a 300 hp car and they certainly know you better than I do. All I'm saying is be careful out there bro and have some respect for your car.
