Default Lowering my Stang

Alright I am getting ready to lower my 6er and am to the understanding that I need a panhard bar. Is there anything else that I absolutely need in order for this to be done right? Any input, details, or pictures would be very beneficial.

Thanks,
Kyle

Technically you wont "need" a PHB.....but you should get one.....depending on how low you go you may not affect it enough to notice.
You "should" get shocks and struts too.....but you don't "need" them right away....given your stockers will eventually give out on ya....but again..Depends on how low you wanna go.
If you're going really low...you may want to consider an Adjustable upper control arm....to fix the pinion angle.

To be honest all you really NEED to lower a car is a shorter spring set......but that's certainly not the CORRECT way to do it.....Do it right the first time and save yourself a lot of time and effort.

Shocks & Struts
Adj. PHB
Upper strut mounts
Caster Camber plates
Adj UCA ( if you're going lower than 1.7 inches in the rear I would advise it )
That about covers it....unless you want better Sway bars.....then do those at the same time.
Also Lower control arms are quite beneficial to our cars too. and they are CAKE to install.

Yea you technically don't need to upgrade anything else, I didn't have any problems when I lowered my car before I upgraded the panhard bar, the one thing I really want to get is some adj. camber plates, my car has a really noticeable negative camber. That is the only thing that happened to me when I lowered mine.

Would camber bolts be something I should consider, with the price they probably wouldnt be a bad idea

I can't offer you a whole lot of knowledge on camber bolts, I have heard people say it is just wiser to get the plates instead of messing with the bolts

I plan on lowering mine 1.6 in the front and 1.8 in the back . But yea the shocks will have to wait until another day when I have more money as far as everything else I will definately consider them in the near future. Oh and are the stock Upper strut mounts reusable, i read somewhere that they are worthless after you pull them out. And thanks for the feedback from both ya.

Lowering that much you will want an adjustable phb... Mine is 1.4 and the axle shifted slightly. All I did was springs and camber bolts you're going to need them...
