deepest, meanest exaust?

Just thought I'd add one of my favorite exhaust clips. Of course it's a v8 so it doesn't add much to the thread, SORRY!

I had the FRPP exhaust with the GTA mufflers. They were louder than GT takeoffs, but still a little too quiet.
I went to a pair of Pype Bombs, but they were a too rough and loud in not a good way.
I added a couple glasspacks to the midpipes and that smoothed out the Pype Bombs. I'm planning to stay with that setup for now.

The 4.0 can sound pretty damn good at low rpms but no matter what set-up, at higher rpms you can tell it's a V6. If you take the cats off it will sound like sh*t, so loud isn't something you should go for. That being said I recommend my set-up, H Pipe and GT takeoffs. Nice and deep at start-up/driving around and not obnoxious when I get on it (plus the axlebacks were only $50 shipped). The H pipe is said to sound better, while the X is said to slightly flow better, with minimally better performance but it is a little raspier

I'm planning on going longtubes but leaving the stock cats (or even better, making a setup where I can unbolt the cats and put in a bolt-in pipe to replaces them, so If I want loud idle or around town driving I can do that, but if I get tired of it...I can just put the cats back in )
I'll be running mac flowpaths again eventually too.....here's a video.

you are very right about it being very low, that being said i love it! soon ill be getting the pypes shorty headers, change it up a lil. the v6 exhaust clip on cervinis web page sounds 100% right.

Honestly if your just going after a loud, then SLP's or Boomtubes will get you there. If your after an exhaust note that's better than stock but not LOUD and obnoxious at high RPMs, then GT takeoffs. If you want a more noticeable exhaust note than the GT takeoffs but nothing crazy try FRPP GTA's or Stingers.
