Saturday didn't work out, its friend of my dad who is taking a look at it so it might not be till next week.

 

Any word on what the problem was? Did you have it checked out?

yup, backing plate or wheel bearing..

 

odd update... noise went away completely... haven't heard it in over a week

 

most likely it was a stone jammed in there somewhere. its happened to me a few times and it makes a heck of a screetch.

ive also had the rt frt wheel bearing go bad, it makes a constant noise that wont go away. the other side bearing were fine, but i put 2 new hubs on the frt from rockauto.com.
