Default Cleaned BBK intake how long do i wait?

I just used a k&n cleaning kit on my BBk intake it rinsed perfectly and i made sure all the soap/solution came out. I have been letting it naturally dry on towels for about 6 hours when is the appropriate time to oil this thing? The instructions aren't very clear on how much oil you should use? any tips? thanks

I typically allow ANY of my oiled filters to dry for 24 hours unless I had it drying with moving air, in which case I gave them 12 hours.

For oiling, do you have a spray bottle? I find that about 2-3 light applications about 15 minutes apart inside and out works fine and hasn't caused any MAF contamination for me.

if you want to get precise with it, you can call s&b filters. they make filters for all the cai`s, give them your dimensions and they can tell you how many grams of oil to use. thats how i do mine. my jlt filters require 48 grams of oil. i use a digital kitchen scale to weigh them as i spray the oil. then i let that sit for a day or more.

when i wash it i let it dry a couple days

i also bought a 2nd filter so i can install a clean filter, and take my time cleaning the other. works out really well
