Default GT Take off question

Does it matter whether you are going auto to auto or manual to auto when you get GT take off mufflers? Sorry if this is stoopid, just want to make sure before I buy a pair. Thanks.

Doesn't matter except for the fact that the GT Takeoff manual mufflers are a little louder. Looking to go dual?

Yep. How much did the shop charge you for the H and mids?

I had a friend do it as his exhaust shop, so I really only paid for the parts ($50 for the mufflers from ebay and ~$100 for the piping). Generally I'd say as a rough estimate maybe $250 for parts/install. I'd try to find a custom exhaust shop to do it (opposed to a Midas type of place) because they usually have a better idea of what they're doing and usually won't charge through the roof

I had the Duals Kit from NewTakeOff on my v6, loved the sound and of course the look of the dual exhaust, its about time Ford hooked the sixers up with dual exhaust. I agree with Alec on price and where to go in regards to custom shop vs midas
