Squealing when AC is on and accelerating

i had a belt squeal caused from my crank pulley coming apart. turning on the a/c put enough drag on it to keep it inline and it got me home, where it fell apart.
have you checked the gauge on your tensioner pulley to see if your belt is over stretched?
