Default Upgrades long overdue- Suggestions?

2006 v6, stock. 120k miles. I don't plan on dropping more than 1-2k right now, but does anyone have suggestions to improve performance as far as CAI, full exhaust, tuner, gears, etc are concerned? Thanks! Even if it's out of my price range right now I'd appreciate any input!

get a tuner and CAI combo from americanmuscle.com. then change gears, and add T-Lok. i went with 4.10's because i like to drag race my car. most people go with 3.73's because they are good on the highway. i have a diablosport trinity tuner. i love it. if you go with the tuner/CAI combo from americanmuscle.com and get gears and T-Lok, with installation for the gears and t-lok your in the $1500-$2000 range.

There's not a lot of power to be gained with $1k-$2k. Double that and you may be talkin' some real power by going FI. OR, trade the V6 and put the $2k towards a GT.

For staying NA, the CAI & tune is one of your bigger gainers for about 15-20 RWHP. After that, it's small change mods for 3 RWHP here, 5 there...

Looking to go forced one day, but I want an increase now. As for FI, super or turbo?

if your going FI, go with the 8.8" GT rear end swap. you'll need the durability of that bigger rear to handle the power form your FI. the stock will rear will work, but you wont be able to get as much power out of your FI because the rear wont handle that much.

If u want to go FI look into supporting mods like 8.8 or building up the 7.5 (its just what's easiest for you) and ignition is a good idea for a car w 120k miles so coil pack, wires, sparkplugs. also maybe look into exhaust if you don't go turbo in the future but do some research on youtube and what not to get a good system that you'll like forever or u can waste a lot of $$$ changing it up over time. another thing could b a DS, simple (and cheap) GT brake upgrade, and maybe some suspension parts.

definitely get a nice exhaust system. get nice headers, better pipes, and better muffler. The stock exhaust blows really hard and the stock muffler sounds like garbage.
