Lowering
I would definitely go with the FRPP springs, they are just as good as the others, but will save you a few bucks. Definitely do not drop more than 1-1/2" on a street car. The Mustang doesn't have a lot of suspension travel as it is.
You should upgrade your shocks/struts at the same time. You will be expecting your dampeners to do additional work in a shorter stroke.
Personally, I would recommend the Koni Yellows. They are adjustable so you can fine tune your suspension to your liking. I adjusted mine about a dozen times before I found the sweet-spots that I wanted.
Remember, using low profile tires will stiffen up your ride also. You won't have the tire sidewalls to dampen the bumps anymore. Combine this with shorter/stiffer springs and your ride quality is going to change a lot.
I did everything at one time and was shocked (no pun intended....) how much my ride quality changed. I was incredibly fortunate that I had installed the Koni Yellows so I could fine-tine everything.
I would recommend upgrading the tires & wheels first, then get used to them before making further upgrades. You may be happy with the effect you have and choose to not drop it.

Here's my recommendation:

A little known fact is that Eibach makes their Pro Kit springs, FRPP's K springs, and our Pro Series springs all to the same specifications. (but I think we're less expensive than the others)

Ummm.. Maybe it's too late but real gt500 rims with the nitto nt555 18-45-255 are actually cheaper than AM's replicas, and in my opinion, look better. They are around 1200. And as far as springs I have heard great things about the steeda sport springs. I am ordering them as soon as they come back into stock at AM. It lowers 1" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. And from what I've heard they ride better than the eibachs do. Steeda also has the ultralights that lower 1.25" and 1.5"
