Catch can has been slimed. UGH!
I've had my ProCharger setup on my 4.0 for about 4-5 months now which required me to move the catch can to the drivers side. And during the summer it was collecting a few drops of oil each week. Now that the weather has become colder it started to collect about a teaspoon of water each week. And the last few weeks I was opening the drain **** but nothing was coming out. I decided to unscrew the can to see if anything was there, and to my amazement it was loaded with yellowish slime and the drain **** was completely plugged. I guess this is a reminder to all of you to make sure to take apart your can to ensure nothing bad is collecting. I'll be doing this every week going forward and not relying on the drain ****.
I'm also concerned about what exactly this tells me about my motor. Does anyone know if this means I have engine issues? She seems to run fine.

That looks typical for cold weather - seems to condense some water vapors when it gets cold out. Had the same thing happen with my 2006 and the Xcharger. First time I saw the yellowish slime I was concerned and then realized it was the weather change.

Thanks Jim! Oil is good and clean and antifreeze is full. I think she's running a little rich and I'll be getting that checked out soon.

1. you probably used the procharger standard installation regarding crankcase ventilation.
2. you're seeing condensation due to a lack of proper ventilation and the cold weather.
I had similar issues with my vortech setup. You have to pull the vapors out of the crankcase and you wont have any baby-**** yellow gunk.

Drive her harder and farther between times of sitting getting cold
and the moisture in the oil will evaporate off.
That amount of moisture is turning into acidic gunk when
combined with the by-products of the internal combustion process...

My wife drives it everyday to work. It's a 25 minute highway commute (one way) which I think would be enough to take care of that. And I usually drive her somewhat hard on the weekend, and the weather here hasn't been that cold. 60's and 70's during the day and 30's/40's in the evening. I imagine the guys living in the colder states have even more issues. But maybe they garage the car in the winter.

Its not the extreme low temperatures that causes it.
Its the relative humidity of the area you live in.
Dew in the morning and its happening.
25 miles seems to not be enough by the looks of the catch can...

Mine did that on my 2006 with the Xcharger every winter - and I had a 45 mile one way commute so with about a 45 minute drive in the morning and it always takes 75 minutes coming home, there was plenty of time for the car to heat up. But the vapors will condense like that with cold weather as the car sits after driving it.

I checked the catch can again after 5 days of driving which equates to ~150 miles. It had nearly a teaspoon of water and a lite coating of the yellow slime in the bottom. The drain **** was clogged once again so I can't use that until warmer weather get here.
