If I were you I would call Powls Speedometer in Lancaster Pa. They seem to know more than the ford dealer. Reason I say that is when I wanted the mileage corrected they directed me to Powl's because that is where they send their speedo work to. Ask them about your issue.

 

I shot them an Email about it before going to work. I work nights into morning, so I have little
time to do things. I just got in now, but I can't get right to sleep, so I PC for about an hour
then sleep till 3PM.

 

I got a response, but it was a CALL us response...

They said, they can pull the Processor from your original cluster, and place it in the
replacement, 4 or 6 gauge, and it will work. No matter what, you're looking at $200+,
+$25 for them to ship it back, for them to do all that, and I'm not paying that... I can
supply a pre-paid shipping label for HALF that, they charge too much for shipping...

Anyhow, this is because there is no Base model 6-guage cluster, so I would have the
Brake, ABS and TCS lights on if I upgraded without the processor swap. They were
going to mention pulling the lights out, but then I would have no brake warning light.

Bottom line, Smail Acura put the wrong model cluster in. Has to be a base model
cluster. If they have my original one, I can do the processor swap myself. Smail Ford
is still formulating...

 

Every place I run the VIN, it comes up Coupe Deluxe or Premium, and it's not.

 

It could be "deluxe" or "premium" - that had nothing to do with whether it has ABS and TCS. The ABS and TCS were a separate order package.

 

Okay, But every run also shows says 4-wheel disc ABS brakes too.

 

At least you got an explanation and it kinda makes sence. But if you don't have the connector behind the panel the pooch is still screwed. And doesn't make sence to go foward with the switch, because you won't be able operate the information center or use the my color option

 

Yep, I know they had them as late as 2007, just have not looked into mine
yet. I can get the updated cluster for $64.00 on eBay, and the switches for
about the same, new. Just busy, or weather not permitting...

Well, I have seen BASE models as Deluxe, they do not have the hood scoop or spoiler,
mine has both, and the Shaker500. You may mean Shaker1000, with the subwoofer,
for premium.

I definitely do not have leather seats and trim.
I definitely do not have ABS or TCS.

I have a driver power seat, but the switch up towards the front doesn't do anything.
IT just has two arrows on it. The up, down, back and forth work, but that seperate
one does nothing, so I suppose that is broke as well...
