Default Engine wire ID

Hello All,

First time Mustang poster, long time Mustang owner. Currently working on a rescued 2007 V6 4.0. While changing the Thermostat housing I found a wire cut/disconnected. It was loose under the housing with no apparent end run. The pic shows the wire at the connection. Question, what is it and where does it connect to? Any assistance with this is much appreciated. Thanks

Gabe
