Default Pertronix for 67 inline 6

I am installing a Pertonix in a friend's '67 coupe it an inline 6. I have done the conversion on my '66, with a resistor wire. What is the setup on a '67? Does it have a resistor or resistor wire?

Thanks

Yes, a resistor wire. (It did from the factory at least.) You should test the feed to confirm though, as who knows what has been done in the past 42 years.

Just as a follow up, the proper way to test for a resistor wire it:

[1] Attach your positive voltmeter lead to the positive side of the coil.
[2] Attach your negative voltmeter lead to an engine ground.
[3] Attach a jumper wire from the negative coil to an engine ground.
[4] Turn the ignition switch to "Run" and read voltage. Do not leave in the "Run" position for more than 30 seconds to avoid burning up the Pertronix or points.

If it is the ignitor I setup, just put black wire on negative side of coil and red wire on positive side. I had it on my 67 I6 until I upgraded to DSII distirbutor setup.
