Fuel pump lock ring tool

Default Fuel pump lock ring tool

does anyone know a part number or a tool that fits an s197 fuel pump lock ring? All i can find are 7.25" tools. My lock ring is only 5".

seriously frustrated with the internet today

hammer and a screwdriver or pry bar always worked for me

Thanks for the responses guys. I was able to get it back on with a pair of screw drivers and a dead blow hammer. But what a pita.

Im gonna contact the guy that made that tool. Id like to have one in case i need to get in there again.
the pump that failed was new, may have been bad but there may be an electrical issue. I hope its not the latter. I hate tracking down electrical problems.
