Anybody out there know if the TCI ratchet shifter for 2010-2012 is the same physical size as the TCI ratchet shifter for the 2005-2009? I think TCI said the difference in the shifters was a harness connector. Next question, would be has anyone swapped connectors on one of the 2010-2012 shifters to make it work in the 2005-2009 vehicle? I think they are both 5 speed automatics (counting OD), so the connector should just be the light in the shifter, neutral interlock, reverse light switch & park. Possibly gear position as well for the ECM. Any technical assistance will be appreciated. I understand that TCI stopped production of the 2005-2009 shifter and I am trying to determine if I can use the new 2010-2012 shifter and swap connectors. Thanks

 

the 2010 is a 5 speed the 2011 on up is a 6 speed auto and the 13-14 is a Select shift but still a 6 Speed.

 

I know. But... In the pictures on websites that sell the 2010-2012 TCI StreetFighter Ratchet Shifter, they look the exact same as the 2005-2009 shifters. Thank you for the info though.
