Like I said it is almost annoying. It sounds like a frickin nascar when I am near buildings. I wish i had gotten Borlas again.

My pypes violator catback sounds great at cruising speeds. You are never going to keep that drone that you are looking for unless you keep it around 2000 rpm. Thats where most of the chambered catbacks drone the most. Mine drones there also but I like it.

My 96 gt has X pipe w/o cats, 40 series flows, and is dumped right at the rear axel. The car is extremely loud. Sounds great on the highway. Even with my radio all the way up i can still here the exhaust clearly.

My flows have been punched out which made it louder but somtimes raspy at high rpm. Pretty much running straight pipes. Go with the flows!

i think the raspiness could be due to the X also. H pipes may not have as good of flow as the X but the H sounds much deeper and cleaner. JMO

the exhaust setup on my car is pretty much stock, but its loud as hell, when I drive on the highway, people look because its so loud. I all I have is a stock h-pipe and some twister mufflers. Since I have an auto, I have to hit the gas sometimes to get the tach to kick up so I can get louder, other than that, it drones and get annoying.

Haha, if all you have is a swapped set of mufflers you dont know what loud is.

SLP LM1's, stock h-pipe, sounds really good, the drone on the highway isn't bad at all, and yes, when in a tunnel or between city buildings it is LOUD, for how loud it is outside the car, it is amazingly quiet inside, imo
