thermastat ?

Default thermastat ?

would an after market thermastat help keeping my engine cooler, or are the stock ones good enough. or would a better radiator be better. i live in texas where it reaches 105 degrees.

What do you have in there now? 180? I would say a 160 but that might be pushing it considering where you live. If you put to cool of a termostat in there then the car is going to run even hotter.

stock t-stats are 195 or 192.. can't remember off the top of my head.. But anyways I put a 180 one in my car and it's fine during the hot summer days we get here in FL. If you are doing any work on the radiator or anything, just change it out while the coolant is drained..
