Right now yea you are right I am just in it for the sound right now. I'm only 17 I dont got much spare money. Like I said before X-pipes will give u better performance I'm not denying that. #1 X-pipes cost more than H-pipes #2 X-pipes give u that nascar sound not muscle car sound. The majority of people on here are running magnaflow with their X-pipes not flowmasters. Ismokedu just said that he hated his x-pipe with his flowmasters.

I've had both an X pipe set up and H pipe setup and, by far, the X is the way to go. Better sound range, not as bad reverb on the freeway, and louder. I'll never go H again.

Where do you live sskiller that you are still legal with no cats. I'm not sure of the emmissions laws here in Arizona but I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be legal with no cats.

No Way! No How! Can an X-pipe or H-pipe be legal w/o cats! Why do you think ALL cars come with them??? Also, imports that come into the country must pass emissions BEFORE they ever make it off the dock. Duh[sm=smiley5.gif]

Once I get a car with 2 banks....it's gonna be X pipe with Magnas, no question about it (and for ****s, I'm going to MAKE MY OWN X PIPE FROM SCRATCH, I can picture how to do it in a couple hours in my head, but kinda hard to explain, should help out some folks).

Not possible. Just, because you pass emissions w/out cats does not mean you setup is legal. You are still supposed to have them, & not running them, BUT passing emissions does not change that. I know plenty of guys w/O/R setups that pass.

It is a federal offense to tamper with the emmissions systems....however, it's not enforced very well.

As long as you meet local laws you'll be fine (which, if you don't have emmissions or visual inspection, is don't be really freakin loud)
