K theres this guy in my town with a 98 GT.

He did head and cam swap. I know he has the newer heads as from the 99-04 (not sure on the cam)

He has LT headers, high flow cat x-pipe, Bassani exhaust and K&N intake

and finally.. a custom tune.. how much HP u think this guy could be running?

 

id say like maybe 270ish rwhp and 300 crank? also i think he would have a new intake manifold since he did the head swap from a PI swap

intake 3
custom tune 8

190+76 = 265-270rwhp

thats my guess

 

if they are aftermarket cams the that could be another 25WRHP tops

 

if he's head and cammed with full exhaust he's pushing about 280 or more, depending on the cam, head work and intake/TB/plenum setup. if he's got porting done and a good cam, he's close to 300. or he should be at least.


i'm sorry, but if you have full exhaust, especially LT headers with a head/cam swap and a tune and you aren't making 280 rwhp you did something wrong.
