Default Half a tank?!

Got a 2000 Mustang GT and I am getting 100 miles on half a tank, does anyone in here think that is outrageous?! i don't even speed that much. what's going on here? the traction control OFF light is always on, can't seem to turn it off... I realized that that could save some gas...

On the traction control thing, sounds like you have a tune on there. that is why the light will never shut off.

Does it come on, then off, then back on when you start the car??

Also, the trac control won't make any difference in the fuel economy.

Fill the car totally, hit the trip meter, and drive to half a tank. Then fill it again. How much gas do you put in?? The gauge just might be off.

Try shifting at like every 10 mph...2nd at 10mph, 3rd and 20 mph, etc. that should help your gas mileage out.
