Does anyone know what color and how many tooth gear I need for a 96 mustang get with 3:73 gears I am on latemodel resto trying to order one but it doesnt say which one I need thanks a lot

 

I believe its a 23 tooth. Get the speedcal instead. Its more accurate. You can also use it if you change tire sizes.

 

on late model resto it says that for my year a 23 tooth is for 3:55 but it doesnt say for 3:73 so I am not sure which one I need to order thanks for any help

if i were you i would just buy the speedcal. i bought a 23 tooth gear for my car with 4.10 gears and it was still like 20 mph off. so i just bought a speedcal and it works great. i wish i would have just saved the money on the gear and just bought the speedcal in the first place.

 

23 tooth for 3:55's and up.. its still off, its just more correct. Get a speed cal if you want it to be correct.
