Ok I got home, it's snowing here so I used the subaru today, that's like a snowmobile.
the wheels and tire's were given to me and they are the Toyo Proxes. I am so impressed with them I am going to get new one's for my 18" wheels.

i forgot to metion that i have just about EVERY bolt on possible dont to my car. AND i have my ENTIRE suspension done up
Including maximum motorsports lower control arms ...
so for me atleast, no for everyone else, my first and second gear are completly useless if i run from a stop ... this is ofrouse with regular street tires... i dont want to invest in DR's though, i know its a good option, but i really just want to stick with reg street tires because i mainly run in the streets and in the canyons, very seldom do i go to the track ...
i hope that info helps
thanks again guys

All of that suspension is worthless with the kind of tire you must be running. A stock suspesion GT will outrun ya with drag radials on.
Don't be scared of D/Rs, they are fine. I have no problems in the wet, and get close to 10k on each set.

You have all of this suspesion work, but no drag radials? What tires are you running? Why no drag raidals??

great..... now i have second thoughts about getting 4.10's [&o]
great..... now i have second thoughts about getting 4.10's [&o]
1.) stay with stock gears
-----------or---------------
2.) buy 4.10s and sell them to me

in short, if your not goin with atleast 4.10s, stay stock, dont waste your money, unless your goin F/I then its a different story
i dont drag the car, so i dont need drag radials , to help clear your misunderstanding of my motives. i run in canyons and i road race, i dont do 1/4 mile . thats why i use street tires and not D/R's . thats also why the 410s are way too much, and gear runs out too quick to be able to run well on a twisted course. also, when i say i have my entire suspension done up , its a road race set up, its not a drag set up... i know most of you guys are more into the drag thing , which i am very cool with, its awsome and that is some fun ****, but i get my kicks off of road racing. twisty courses , canyons , etc etc, im sure u guys know the deal . i think im prob gonna throw my 327s back in, its a pretty good gear ratio for me because i can stay in second gear while running on twisties, and i am high enough in the power band to pull off a few slides through corners. i will miss the 410s though, they really give a good kick. but no traction and such short gears play out pretty quick , atleast in my case they did. if you plan on drag racing, GO WITH 410s , dont be discouraged just because i dont want them. they are GREAT for drag. get some DRs and call it a day , it will be awsome. my engine has about 76k miles on it, hopefully something ****s up soon so i have a reason to rebuild it with ported heads and VT cams . till then , bolt ons and 327s will have to do ...
thats what i was thinking ... im gonna see if they have any used 355's laying around at the shop ... hopefully they do and i can trade my 410s for the 355s , if not , then 327s it is ... not that u guys care, but ill let u know how it works out tomrrow lol

i actually just called the shop and asked if they had any 355s laying around ... they said yes... so tomrrow at 8am the swap will be done ... 410s to 355s.... i have a feeling im gonna miss the 410s and the power they offer, but hey , the car is pretty strong anyways so the 355s should be fine ... thanks for all the help guys ... ill let u know the opinion on the 355s tomrrow, incase anyone was thinking about getting something along those lines
get the DRs

Make no mistake, Nitto's new NT-555 is for the performance-driven individual. When this new tire went on the drawing board, Nitto's engineers utilized racing concepts like the biggest achievable tread contact patch and specially formulated tread compounding to put incredible traction and handling at the very center of the NT 555's character.
•Tread pattern maximizes block size for high speed stability and superb cornering performance.
•High-density bead filler stiffens the sidewall to provide excellent steering response.
•Full-width steel belts and jointless edge and ply caps stabilize tread and resist deformation at high speeds for incredible stability and control.
•Advanced, high-grip compound delivers superior mobility on both wet and dry surfaces and enhances tread wear.
•Tread block diversity disperses pitch variations to reduce noise for a quiet ride.
•Z-speed rated.
This tire is especially popular with drifting enthusiasts.
