Hi All,

I traded in my 2004 GT Prem Convertible (red/blk) about 1 month ago for a new 2006 GT Premium coupe (blk/blk) - both 5-spd.

I love the new car style and driving but want the old car back - I had also bought it new and it had only 8000 miles - I really miss that convertible.

I am willing to taks a loss on my new 2006 GT (only 700 miles) and am willing to sell for $26,000 obo so I can buy the 2004 back - it is still on the lot. The dealer is trying to rape me so I was wondering what is the best way to sell a car quickly - even at a loss.

Anyone have expereince with Carmax? (good/bad)

Any other suggestions for a reliable way to sell quick for a good price - I don't want to advertise in local paper and would prefer to sell to a local place/person - I live in Miami.

i got my car at carmax. it was good but they are stiff on prices and wont budge

local paper = best. my friend threw in his pos 199? grand am in the paper, the same night, before the paper even came out (thanks to the online ad) he sold it for 3,500, which it wasnt really worth.

gl and i dont blame you for wanting the 04 back, the new edge mustangs>05/06's, at least body style, i wish we had their performance =x

it cost a little but if the car is for the right price it will be gone in a week.

carmax is a huge ripoff. their cars are 1-3k above KBB and they rip you on trade-ins.
