Lowering???
Hey guys -
Want to know if it matters if i lower my car with eibach springs does it matter if i get the springs put on before i put my 18x10's on the back and my 18x9's in the front bullitt wheels, I currently have the stock 17's on the car btw its a 99 GT convertible. I have heard that the lowering needs to be done after the 18's are put on and just wanted to see if any of you knew if it even mattered.
Thanx,

RE: Lowering???
Tire size doesn't make a difference with lowering the car. The only thing to worry about is that if you get real wide tires on the rear (295, 315) at 18", you may have a little rubbing if you lower it. Whoever was telling you there needs to be an order to it was feeding you a load, and should probably not be totally trusted.
I have 265/35-18 tires on 18x9 wheels on the front, and 295/35-18 tires on 18x10 wheels on the back... no rubbing, but then again my stang is not lowered.
