2003 GT - I installed a MAC COLDAIR INTAKE. Took me a little over an hour, and it was my first time ever working on my car. IT was such a pain in the *** getting the filter in the fender, i hope its on nice and tight.

Anyhow, I can tell a difference already in first gear. Just getting a little more power for less RPM's. Next on my list is pipes, but im not installing those myself.


Quick question though ... lets say that my filter isnt on as tight as it should be ... What is the worst that could happen by "not having the air filter on" so to say.

hahaha damn man...that could be catastrophic...who knows what will get in your engine without a filter...large particles or even small particles would scare the inside of your cylinder walls...just make sure its tight! also, why arent you installing a catback? its just bolting no welding

I didnt know catbacks were bolt on, i may try that myself too. =)

Good for you man.

That is why I don't like the CAI. Better response from a Mass air setup.

If you do the catback, you'll need a lift, my man. Good luck!
