Default need a few tools for tranny

Hey all~
I got my tranny into my basement and just started pulling it apart tonight. I got the tail housing off, and now I'm looking at all the gears in there. I need a bearing separator and some retaining ring pliers and I was wondering where would be a good place to go to get them.

Would there be a special type of retaining ring pliers for these lil rings on the gears or would regular ones work?

I need like a 4 1/4" bearing separator and I'm not sure if I should rent or buy it.

On the up side the trans is super clean inside, and the little magnet in the bottom had almost no shavings on it. The fluid that was still there after the draining is very bright pink/red too. I'm taking my time on this but it looks like I'm off to a good start
