Actually slightly more power....I do realize the cars and variables were different, but you get the point.
Thanks... I wish I would have had these dyno charts when I had the thread about how the 5.0's are way underrated compared to 4.6's.

For anyone that isn't familiar, I basically said that the 5.0s have more power than a PI 4.6 for most of the usual driving RPM range, and they have a torquier, faster feel for daily driving, despite being slightly slower in the 1/4 when stock. This is what made them so popular.

Simply put, look at the 2 charts... at 2K rpm, they don't even bother showing the 4.6 because it makes no power at all there, then look at 3000, 3500, 4000, you get the picture.. the 5.0 makes more power basically right up until 5000 RPM and then the 4.6 takes a slight egde from there until 6K. This is something you have to consider when talking about power.. too many people just look at a peak power numbers and think that's the end of the story....
