what to do with tranny numbers?
well I took the little identification tag off my trans (because i pulled the tailhousing off) and it has a whole slew of numbers. Trying to just research what they all mean to get an idea of my tranny's history
looks kinda like this
F6ZR-7003-AXC
RES-AAK
163
1381-001
4377OE
I dunno what to do with the numbers, if anyone has an idea of where I can look let me know. Tried google to no avail
it's a 97 GT with the stock T45 tranny

RE: what to do with tranny numbers?
thanks man! that's some good searching. I'll keep those in mind. i'm just curious, I figure while I got the tranny out may as well lol
so technically my car is a 96 ... i'm betting it was like a december of 96 that got sold in 97
the inside of the trans is super clean, I can't wait to get into it more (need a few pullers)
thanks again!
