Default break in procedure for clutch

I'm going to have my flywheel resurfaced and be installing my clutch in a couple weeks. Wondering what you guys who have gotten new ones do to break it in good and make it last. It's a ford racing king cobra clutch

Just did the same clutch three weeks ago! Normally Ford recommends a 500 km break in period. Go easy for a while...

Sit in your driveway and continue to push the clutch in and out until you have reached 1000 times, then, it's ready to go.

i just put that exact one in....and resurfaced my flywheel i got a 1996 gt and i like it so far, its nice, but i just took it easy on it about 200 miles then just lightly went up with agressivness, i dont think 500 miles is really nessecary....seesm like alot to me when a engine is like 1000....i dunno...but you wont mess it up unless you really rod on it and apply to much heat to it to fast and shatter it, but iother than that you are fine!

cool cool man! I just dropped the flywheel off tonight. Before that shat goes back on I gotta replace the rear main and oil pan gasket (ergh!) but eh w/e

so just take it easy for probably 2-3 tanks of gas. I will ease into the rompings. thanks guys, can't wait to get the gaskets fixed, synchros done and all this sh** back together so I can go cruisin again.

ok cool, these are all things I need to know. Before I put it all together I was gonna buy a can of brake clean and spray the clutch disc, fly wheel and pressure plate down and wipe them off... this be a good idea right?
