I am going to buy a cold air intake for my 98 gt within this week. I was thinking the MAC cold air intake was a good one, its advertised to gain about 17 horse. Does anyone have any recommendations on cold air intakes that will work well with the Borla exhaust? Also where can i purchase them over the internet? Replies ASAP would be appreciated, after all i'd like to order tonight. THanks alot

 

i bought a mac cold air induction from a performance shop in maryland for 169.99 and you can feel the less hesitation when u nail it. i have a 97 gt and it probably added maybe 12 horses to the rear.

 

Get a C&L CAI they dyno more than any other intake

 

I dont know what your guys set up is like but getting 12 rwhp just off an intake is very very very high. On a stock mustang you will be lucky if you get 5 rwhp off an intake. Basically all intakes are the same. I have heard that the densecharger will improve your gas mileage a bit though. I would say go BBK or MAC those are probably your best bets.

 

I would never buy a bbk or mac intake, go with the densecharger!

you won't even feel the difference after installing it ... won't believe anyone who says he does
ridden 3 different stangs with intake .. not really noticable if you already have other mods
