man i got mine just over 2 years ago for 16,900 with 20k and that was a good deal at teh time in ny (pre 05 stang)

kbb on mine with 65k now is 10,800

I wonder if there is a shipping premium for cars purchased in Hawaii, they can't truck them there, or get them out of state easy. Meaning supply drives price. Just a thought,

that's a really good point john. so the dealer has to pay more to have the car get to their lot, therefore they have to sell it for more to make the same profit as someone in the states

Good Mustang GTs are hard to find here. There are some people selling their '04s for way over KBB... around $20K - $24K. Cost to ship a used car from the west coast to Hawaii is about $1K. Shipping cost doubles if I buy from a mid-western state. I'm kind of used to the price raping already.

I was gonna say the same thing. there was another member from Hawaii that also said nice Mustangs are hard to find over there.
