Default PI CAM SWAP FOR NON PI HEADS

Ok, can I swap a set of PI cams into non-PI heads...ok what I really need to know is if i just have to change the springs or what else? The heads I have are non-PI ported and polished.

Yes. Nothing else is required. They're a good 15rwhp gain.

With P&P heads and PI cams you'll most likely need a dyno tune.

Yep!

I would still reccomend something bigger. If you're doing the work and getting a tune anyways, just throw on some stiffer valve springs and a bigger cam.

I can get the cams and springs for 75 dollars, and I can do the work myself(I HOPE). Would you do it then. What are we talking for a tune...playing with the timing a little?
