Default Car is fixed, kill list so far for the weekend

Well got the car fixed. Took the belt off and sure enough it was the alternator. Damm, let me tell ya, you don't want to have yours go out on ya, it was 215 bucks with tax at autozone!! That was the only place in town that had one, but they were all around 190 before tax.

Sure was alot of fun getting the belt back on with almost no tools and the blower bracket blocking acess to the tensioner.

Anyways, so far this weekend (I am at my hometown for the weekend) we have raced:

00 LS1 Trans Am
04 GTO 5.7 auto
99 SVT cobra stick
Short run with a bullit
95 LT1 with some mods (no idea what all done)
Lots of various uncle ben's

Every one of em has been a total rape. I was really hoping to run into a c5/c6 vette (so long as not a c6 Z ) or a close to stock 03 cobra. Talked to a guy with a 03 that wouldn't race (not tuned atm) hoping to put down 525 to the tire. That woulda been ugly

Been there, done that on the alternator replacement on the Mrs' S/C Stang. It was a total pain, having that bracket in the way. Glad to hear everything is fixed and running well.
