I never thought of it like that. I do use mobil 1 oil but my fam as alwase used Fram. Well no more K&N or Mobil 1 for now on.

I used to work at a quick lube, so I've changed tons of filters. And have found the ones that seem to do the best job and seem to hold up are K&N, WIX and Purolator
pureOne (not in any order). Fram is bad news all the way around. I personally use WIX on my car.

hmmm.... i wonder why everyone says fram sucks, that very well may be. But on most of my family cars we have run those, and the engines like I said out last the car.

I run a wix on my mustang tho, I like the nascar logo haha and it's a quality filter too

I have always used a Fram filter and Mobile One synt. oil in my 96. 150,000 miles later still no problems.

yep! as long as you change it every oil change you are good
