Default rearend problem...

i had a new housing installed, new 4.10 gears, Eaton Posi & upgraded to 31 spline strange axels, its now a few months later now and im hearing a metal on metal grind when im turning, like making a turn in a parking lot or coming to a stop sign and making a turn, what could be the problem?

sounds like shims are misaligned.
p.s. you should have gotten a new carrier (eaton posi for 31spline axle)

You could also add some Friction Modifier, and see if it goes away... If it doesn't, then I'd be more concerned w/ finding out about shims... I've just gone through a major ordeal w/ Rear Diff. work on my car....
