hey got my o/r x pipe in and im just waitin for the weather to break for the install, my friends uncle well im buddies with him now has his own exhaust shop and does all my installs for friends and family or what not, im doin the xpipe on my own time by my self at his shop and he's gunna do my mufflers for nothing and i wanted to know if anyone has any pics, comments or suggestions on the install for a 99+ stang, car im doin is my 01 cobra, thanks guys/gals appreciate it

 

i installed my own x-pipe, it wasnt too bad just more time consuming then i wouldve thought but that is always the way. myself and 2 of my buddies were under the car in my garage on drive up ramps. THe hardest part is the front passanger side becuase the bolts sit up and tucked in, making them a pain in the *** to get to. The mil eliminators are simple just make sure you attach wiring where it does not hit the exhaust. All in all it took us about 2.5-3 hrs b/t making a few runs to the hardware store and some just joking around. Wait till its done though, youll love it

 

yeah i have it a little easier, a full car lift and power tools and anythin else i would need at arms reach

 

Have your buddy look over your shoulder for suggestions and stuff.

with a lift the install will be a brease...just make sure you soak the bolts in penetrating lubricant for a good while
