what tires?
My friend with a 350Z has the G-Force D/R's (he's not a noob either, he's like 45-50 years old with lot's of track exp)
and he told me that when he got the G-force tires he would brake torque burn a tad just to warm them up a bit because that's what he grew up with... but he did some research and told me today that the G-Froce tires are made with a special compound that already makes them really sticky so theres no need (perfect for a noob like me in my mind)
but then I hear alot about the Nitto D/R's on here and then I heard alot of good things with MT's and I was just wondering what woould be my best bet?
I think I have to order the MT's but on the other hand I can drive 2 miles to my nearest discount tire and get them put on and so on and so forth that day for around 380 bucks... just wondering what would be my BEST choice this summer?

RE: what tires?
how many miles you looking to get on a set of tires vs. how good of traction you looking for, you wont get both but nittos last longer then most but only as good any any radial but not as good as all the softer drag rasials

RE: what tires?
yep....on MT you will be changing them out like oil changes ever 3k miles
ive had my MT ET Street Radials for nearly 4 thousand miles, and i think i might ahve just started seeing a bit of tread wear.. sure, they arent going to last 30K, but i dont see any reason why 10K + will be a problem,,
i do however want to switch them out so that if i ever want to peel out from a stoplight, or at an intersection, i wont have guilt for blowing off my big $$$ tires..
if youre looking strictly for a daily driver tire however, ive heard plenty of people say nittos do just fine
