I just bought the Steeda kit that includes there new Firewall adjuster.......The new one has a set screw simular to the UPR one..........

Has anyone had any problems with it yet? I have not installed the kit yet and if I need to buy a different adjuster I would do it now before the install........

Kit I bought

just the adjuster
Thats the exact same kit that I had bought, had also bought a spacer for the quadrandt also.

If its not to late send that steeda firewall adjuster back and get one of the upr firewall adjusters from the links listed above. That would would be your best bet. If you cant send just the firewall adjuster back, you might send the whole kit and just get the upr kit.

I have a ford racing clutch... I need a new cable. Would I just need a new cable? Because I don't think I'll need any more and I'm content with how the clutch feels, it has just stretched. I've seen steeda's cable for $40, and UPR for $35

dont' want fords for $81 tho

who's better for a clutch cable, steeda or UPR?

I havent had a problem with the steeda clutch cable, just the firewall adjuster. I dont think you will go wrong with either the upr or steeda cable.

Yeah same question I would like to know. I checked my steeda one today bc I felt like it was loosening up and sure enuff the firewall adjuster has come loose again. And its a fuking BITCH to tighten. If the quick click extreme self locking one works good then I am definately going to order it.
