Default RE: Gears?

+1 i have motive gears and have had FRPP both are great but for the money i will continue to buy motive... neither have any whine and im 98% sure that most ppl that have gear whine is because of the install not the gear....motive for the win....cuz of that great package on rpmoutlet

Need a press and dial indicator at the very least... I don't believe a TUNER can recalibrate the speedo for your car. To the best of my knowledge you need to buy the speedo gear.
i dont' know if by tuner you mean something like the preditor, but the preditor will fix your speedo after gears...that's why they put either that or the SCT into a package with the gears

Im not sure about on the tuner. To the best of my knowledge, on the 96-98 cars at least on the 96( one I have) the speedometer is controlled by a gear. you can get these for like 20 dollars. I would call a reputable shop to have the install done. In Springfield Mo, there is a shop for mustangs, Injected Racing and they do the install for 150. This is a pretty good deal IMHO, I'd even pay more to have it done right
