the main thing is for 5000 dollars, you can but a Ford Racing 351 or 302 with 450 horsepower at the crank, you obously still need a transmissions which will prpbally run about 2 to 3k but for the perfomace i think its worth it. There is only so much power you can build from the 4.6 with 281 cubes. I personally and trying to save money to purchase a brand new 351 with 500 horses.

Oh, I started to say! And not to be pushy at all or to sound shi**y, but why are you on a 4.6 forum instead of the v-6. I'd think those guys would have more knowledge about motor swaps on there. Good luck either way. But imo I would say get another mustang make it a gt this time.
