Tire Problem...
I went to Sears today to have them fix my front brakes, which they had screwed up the first time I was there. (Took them nine hours to replace the calipers and rotrs in front) But anyway when I was back, the girl working there asked me about were I got my tires and had me come look at them. I have Mach 1 Retro Rims and Esseza R 255/45/17s, whichc were on there when I bought it. She showed me that they were H rated and not the correct size and Z Rated for a 1999 GT. I told her that the rims were different, but she still said that the tires were dangerous to have on my car. My tires are a little torn up I noticed, and she said it was because of them being H Rated and 255/45/17 instead of 245/45/17 Z Rated. I called my grandfather who has run a tire shop for 40 years now and he said it shouldnt make a big difference and my tires should be fine. What should I do? Are my tires just a lil torn up from sliding around corners and stuff?

Sounds good, the more I talk to people the more I think theyre scerwing with me. It unfortunate I had to take my car there in the first place, I would have done the brakes myself, but I was in a pinch and they had to be done on the spot. Side note: when they were done with the brakes they didnt even blled the air out of the system, and when I told them they forgot to do it, they said they didnt do it cause they wanted to finish the car since i had been there for 9 hours,
