I live up the street from upr and have gotten a few things from them for my 01 gt. I currently have the blue thunder short throw shifter with extreme stick.. Now I don't have too much experience with different shifters as I just went from the stock shifter to this one but I can say that I love it.. it allows for a quick firm shift every time. I had the option to get the trick stick or the extreme stick with it and opted for the extreme stick.. it's awesome and I would recommend it.. it's fully adjustable and allows for the perfect reach while keeping a low profile.

okay then my mind has been made up! I'm gonna go with the mobil 1 atf unless I can get some amsoil, but either case synthetic fluid. I think I will go with the upr shifter because it also has the best price I can find.

Thanks everyone!

I have one of those pump style transfers, similar to a tire pump. used that to fill the tranny initially, will use again for the new fluid

I really don't notice any noises since I've had it in... I get a vibration, but that is because I think I've got a bent rim... So more than just my shifter vibrates.

cool man. After my clutch cable will probably come camber plates, and then will be the shifter. Rims and tires are somewhere in the equation.

thanks!!! modding/tinkering/upgrading is so fun, but so difficult ($$$ is always hard to come by to get the mods)
