someone is backwards the 4.6 heads are made from aluminium. Also by the way cast iron heads actually make more power than aluminium because of the way they retain heat for a better burn. This has been proven.
Where in the world did you hear THAT??? Utter bull****.

Guarenteed a car with aluminum heads will outrun an identical car with iron heads, simply because they are lighter. You do NOT want to retain heat, heat costs you power.

A cooler motor will be faster and make more power than a hotter motor. Why do you think people have "cool down periods" and put ice on the engine. The colder the air is when it hits the combustion chamber, the better. A hotter head will not help it burn the fuel any better.

Almost ALL true aftermaket heads are almuminm for a reason. That reason is they are lighter, and disipate heat better.
